Drop cables are used for customer connections from the ODP or BCP network connection point. These cables are equipped with 1, 2 or 4 optical fibres. Telenco offers single-sheath and double-sheath cables. Single-sheath cables for indoor applications are made of LSZH material, come in various diameters, and meet the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) in terms of reaction to fire. Double-sheath cables for outdoor applications are made of HDPE sheathing with an LSZH inner sheath, allowing for seamless extension within the housing to the OTO. The range also includes single-sheath HDPE or TPU outdoor cables.

"With standard SC or LC connectors, pre-connectorised cables can be deployed to connect inside enclosures without splicing. When equipped with IP68-rated connectors, the connection is made directly to enclosures fitted with the appropriate interface. Telenco also offers protective and pull-through end caps to facilitate passage through indoor or outdoor conduits.

They are metal boxes with openings that allow cross-connecting between several modules when installed in cascade. BEPs are an ideal solution for routing fibre optics to the bottom of buildings.
