Since 2022, the Telenco Group has been calculating its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions annually to monitor progress on implemented actions and track its emission reduction path in line with its environmental commitments.
The 2024 carbon footprint is calculated using the internationally recognized Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), which provides standards and tools to measure and manage GHG emissions.
Telenco's total emissions for 2024 amount to 61,677 tCO₂e:

Scope 1 (direct emissions from fuels) |

Scope 2 (electricity consumption) |

Scope 3 (all other indirect emissions) |

Scope 3 represents most of our emissions and includes raw materials, transportation, and end-of-life product management. This makes it our main area of focus for reductions.
In 2024, Telenco’s GHG reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Although the main reduction actions were identified as early as 2022, the Group’s evolution—through acquisitions (e.g., NEKLAN) and activity changes—requires regular updates to both emissions distribution and action plans.
Our main lever is eco-design, which impacts 82% of our reference year emissions. Thanks to in-house life cycle assessment (LCA) capabilities, we can act on materials, production locations, and packaging choices.
The Group also continues efforts on scopes 1 and 2:
These initiatives clearly demonstrate our commitment to reducing emissions across all scopes — even those with a smaller share — as part of a continuous improvement approach.
Telenco publishes its 2024 carbon footprint: 61,677 tCO₂e. 97% of emissions fall under scope 3. Eco-design remains our main lever, with actions focused on materials, transport, waste, and energy.
Telenco’s eline® Rolling-boxes enable discreet and high-performance fiber deployment. Pre-terminated, compact, and easy to install, they integrate seamlessly into any home without heavy work—ideal for FTTR and constrained environments.
FTTR (Fiber To The Room) is revolutionising connectivity by bringing fiber into every room. It ensures ultra-fast speeds, minimises signal loss, and suits all types of homes. Telenco offers passive FTTR solutions that are quick and easy to install.
Since May 2024, TELGO has installed 526 solar panels at its Lavra site (Portugal), generating 250 kW of clean energy and avoiding around 31 tonnes of CO₂ annually. A first step towards a sustainable energy transition.
Telenco® composite poles combine durability, safety and adaptability for FTTH networks. Complying with environmental standards, they offer a reliable and durable solution, tested to withstand the most extreme conditions.
In a world where connectivity is essential, ensuring high-performance network coverage indoors is a real challenge. Building materials such as concrete or metal weaken the signal, impacting the quality of mobile communications.
Telenco offers a complete range of energy cables under the XG-optic® brand. They combine lightness, durability and protection. Pre-connected or flexible, they optimise the installation of mobile infrastructures.
The TELENCO Group strengthens its presence in the LAN and Data Center market by acquiring a majority stake in NEKLAN.
NGIS ensured exemplary 4G/5G connectivity for the Paris 2024 Games in France's stadiums. A success that reinforces our position as a trusted partner for tailor-made indoor solutions in France.
The Data Centre World Paris event was a great success for Telenco! We had the opportunity to present our comprehensive solutions for all clean room fit-out projects, whether new builds or conversions.
Telenco achieved an Ecovadis score of 77/100, a significant improvement on its previous score of 69/100 in 2023.
