Busbar deployment for data centres: a new technical case in Denmark

Busbar installation for data centre in Denmark by NeklanDC, recognised for safety, performance and technical excellence.

With the exponential growth of data centres in Europe, mastering power distribution systems has become a strategic challenge. Specialised in busbar deployment for data centres, Neklan DC, a subsidiary of the Telenco Group, has strengthened its position in the European market with a key project completed in Denmark. This achievement reflects the technical expertise and execution capacity that characterise the Group.

A market under pressure: technical requirements and execution speed

The expansion of digital services in Europe requires data centre operators to deploy highly reliable infrastructures at speed. In this context, electrical distribution becomes a critical factor. Projects demand rigour in execution, multi-site coordination, and compliance with strict local standards.

The strategic role of busbars in critical infrastructure

Busbar systems are central to ensuring continuous, safe and scalable power distribution in IT rooms. Their modularity, load capacity and compact design make them the preferred choice for high-density environments. Their technical performance, combined with rapid installation, directly supports the profitability and reliability of projects.

Neklan DC: recognised expertise in power distribution

Proven field expertise

As a subsidiary of the Telenco Group, Neklan DC specialises in installing EAE busbars within high-criticality infrastructures. Its ability to operate in sensitive environments, within tight deadlines and with high-quality standards, makes it a key player in the European data centre ecosystem.

International references and partners

In 2025, Neklan DC delivered several projects for leading operators such as Mercury and Digital Realty. These projects, carried out in Spain, France, Italy and Germany, demonstrate the company’s ability to operate to the highest standards while meeting site-specific deadlines and constraints.

Project focus: successful deployment in Denmark

A strategic presence in Northern Europe

The recently completed project in Copenhagen marks a strategic milestone in Neklan DC’s growth trajectory. Over 2,000 metres of busbars were installed in an environment subject to stringent electrical safety and energy efficiency standards. This project represents the opening of a northern European development axis for the Telenco Group.

Seamless collaboration and cross-border coordination

The success of the Danish project relied on close coordination between local teams and busbar suppliers. Through integrated planning across engineering, logistics and installation, Neklan DC ensured delivery met the client’s requirements while securing every stage of the project.

Safety, quality, performance: commitments delivered

Awards and performance indicators

Operational results validate the company’s approach. In March 2025, Neklan DC was awarded for the quality of its intervention at the BCN1 site in Barcelona. In May, it won the “Win of the Month” award in Mercury’s internal ranking.

Safety culture and client satisfaction

Across the last six projects delivered, no safety incidents were reported. This performance is underpinned by strengthened procedures and a rigorous internal culture. Client satisfaction reached 97%, based on the latest project completion surveys.

Structured European development

Ongoing projects and 2027 ambition

Neklan DC’s strategy follows a path of sustainable growth. Several projects are currently underway in Germany and the Netherlands, accompanying the expansion of major cloud and IT platforms. The company’s ambition is clear: to become Europe’s leading busbar deployment specialist for data centres by 2027.

Standardisation, digitalisation and skills development

This ambition is built on continuous staff training, digitalisation of project monitoring tools, and standardisation of installation methods. Streamlined logistics flows and reduced installation lead times further strengthen the Group’s competitiveness in international tenders.

The new success in Denmark demonstrates the Telenco Group’s ability to support the growth of European data centres with reliability and responsiveness. With its technical expertise and expanding presence across the continent, Neklan DC has become a strategic partner for high-value power distribution projects.
