Technology tailored to the needs of FTTH networks

Telenco® composite pole equipped for fibre optic deployment. Its robust and durable structure, adapted to FTTH networks, ensures reliable installation in all environments.

Telenco® composite telecom poles are manufactured in France using a centrifugal process that ensures even distribution of the fibres and resin. This technology gives the poles greater resistance to the most extreme climatic conditions and ensures their longevity over several decades.
Telenco currently offers 7- and 8-metre poles to meet the requirements of telecoms infrastructures. In order to adapt to the specific needs of certain projects, the company is able to invest in the manufacture of other dimensions. Telenco poles can be adapted to all types of environment: asphalt, tarmac, cobblestones or bare earth. In terms of durability, these posts have a lifespan of over 50 years, far superior to wood or metal alternatives. Complying with environmental standards, they can be recycled at the end of their life, offering a sustainable and responsible solution for the telecoms market.

Rigorous testing to guarantee quality

To ensure their robustness and reliability, Telenco® composite poles undergo a series of rigorous tests:

  • Brush fire resistance test, guaranteeing increased safety in the event of fire.
  • Resistance to hydrocarbons, ensuring optimum performance even in environments exposed to chemical substances.
  • Chemical and fungus resistance tests, for long-term durability in the face of external aggression.
  • Tensile tests carried out in the factory to guarantee low deformation under the cable's stresses, resistance to fatigue (wind resistance), and resistance to sustained stress (falling branches, snow).

Proven validation through advanced road safety tests

As part of its commitment to quality and safety, Telenco® has subjected its composite poles to rigorous crash tests carried out by Transpolis, a leading road safety organisation. These tests assessed the resistance of the poles in the event of impact with a vehicle, guaranteeing their compliance with the safety requirements for telecoms infrastructures. The results attest to their excellent impact absorption capacity, limiting the risks for road users and ensuring safe integration into urban and rural environments.
