Telenco has developed a new optical drop cable: the DROPTIC® LM033PER. This new cable meets the demand for an outdoor aerial cable with up to four fibres, combining lightness and performance. The design office has designed and tested this drop cable, enabling overhead or underground FTTH connection.
In order to develop the LM033PER cable, Telenco' design office was inspired by the ADSS aerial drop cables, which are widely used in France. To achieve the smallest possible diameter, our designers sized a high density polyethylene (HDPE) sheath and sufficient aramid, inserted a micro-module that can accommodate 4 fibres to withstand overhead spans of up to 50 metres. Sealing ropes were also added to the structure. As a result, Telenco offers a small (3.3 mm), extremely light (8 kg per kilometre) cable that can be deployed over spans of up to 50 m and withstand continuous winds of 110 km/h.
LM033PER is one of the smallest drop cables on the market. With a diameter of 3.3 mm, it combines compactness and strength with low wind resistance. For underground installations, it can be deployed in occupied conduits.
Its low weight per kilometre (8 kg per kilometre) allows for packaging compatible with handling by field installers, and for a rapid customer connection on an outdoor deployment in any conditions.
Three mini watertight ropes ensure that water propagation inside the cable is stopped. This allows the cable to be used in manholes that are sometimes flooded.
The DROPTIC® LM033PER drop cable structure has already proven itself in distribution network deployments thanks to the complementary nature of the FRP reinforcements embedded in the HDPE sheath and the aramid reinforcements. It can therefore be used over a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C without impacting on optical transmissions. With a tensile strength of 150 N and a diameter of 3.3 mm, it can be installed by pulling in underground conducts over several hundred metres or deployed over 50 metre spans. DROPTIC® LM033PER is compatible with several Telenco® anchor clamps. We strongly recommend the use of the 5/35 FTTH R.
Telenco publishes its 2024 carbon footprint: 61,677 tCO₂e. 97% of emissions fall under scope 3. Eco-design remains our main lever, with actions focused on materials, transport, waste, and energy.
Telenco’s eline® Rolling-boxes enable discreet and high-performance fiber deployment. Pre-terminated, compact, and easy to install, they integrate seamlessly into any home without heavy work—ideal for FTTR and constrained environments.
FTTR (Fiber To The Room) is revolutionising connectivity by bringing fiber into every room. It ensures ultra-fast speeds, minimises signal loss, and suits all types of homes. Telenco offers passive FTTR solutions that are quick and easy to install.
Since May 2024, TELGO has installed 526 solar panels at its Lavra site (Portugal), generating 250 kW of clean energy and avoiding around 31 tonnes of CO₂ annually. A first step towards a sustainable energy transition.
Telenco® composite poles combine durability, safety and adaptability for FTTH networks. Complying with environmental standards, they offer a reliable and durable solution, tested to withstand the most extreme conditions.
In a world where connectivity is essential, ensuring high-performance network coverage indoors is a real challenge. Building materials such as concrete or metal weaken the signal, impacting the quality of mobile communications.
Telenco offers a complete range of energy cables under the XG-optic® brand. They combine lightness, durability and protection. Pre-connected or flexible, they optimise the installation of mobile infrastructures.
The TELENCO Group strengthens its presence in the LAN and Data Center market by acquiring a majority stake in NEKLAN.
NGIS ensured exemplary 4G/5G connectivity for the Paris 2024 Games in France's stadiums. A success that reinforces our position as a trusted partner for tailor-made indoor solutions in France.
The Data Centre World Paris event was a great success for Telenco! We had the opportunity to present our comprehensive solutions for all clean room fit-out projects, whether new builds or conversions.
Telenco achieved an Ecovadis score of 77/100, a significant improvement on its previous score of 69/100 in 2023.
