As part of the Telenco Group’s commitment to energy transition and sustainable development, TELGO, our manufacturing subsidiary based in Lavra, Portugal, commissioned a photovoltaic installation in May 2024.
The site, located near the sea and fully unobstructed, benefits from optimal sunlight exposure from sunrise to sunset. These ideal conditions enable energy production from the very first light of day, maximizing the installation’s performance.

The energy produced meets a significant portion of the site’s needs. Any surplus is fed back into the Portuguese public grid, helping to power the local community.
This installation marks a major milestone in the Telenco Group’s energy transition strategy, as we continue working to reduce energy consumption across all our subsidiaries.
Since May 2024, TELGO has installed 526 solar panels at its Lavra site (Portugal), generating 250 kW of clean energy and avoiding around 31 tonnes of CO₂ annually. A first step towards a sustainable energy transition.
