Telenco relies on a greenhouse gas emissions inventory (GHG assessment) for a detailed evaluation of its carbon footprint. Through external verification of data, the Group ensures the reliability and transparency of its results, thereby contributing to targeted actions to reduce its impact.
Since 2016, Telenco has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, affirming its commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The environmental strategy, aligned with the Paris Agreement, has been recognised since 2024 by the validation of our GHG reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), further strengthening our efforts toward a more sustainable economy.
By implementing new processes, including GHG calculations, life cycle assessments (LCA), and the publication of a CSR report, Telenco can identify environmental risks and opportunities associated with its activities. This approach enables the Group to adopt a proactive stance in the face of climate challenges.
In 2024, Telenco continues to structure its environmental approach by strengthening its Quality, Security, Environment and Sustainable Development team (Quality, Safety, Environment, Sustainable Development) with the recruitment of a new team member. This development illustrates the Group's commitment to intensifying its actions for a more responsible future.
