Cementing its place as an expert in the design and manufacture of subscriber connection solutions, Telenco is proud to present its new Fibre To The Home box: the Hestia OTO. In the spirit of Hestia, the protective goddess of the home, this new OTO, designed and manufactured by Telenco, safeguards the subscriber's fibre optic connection.
The design and marketing departments have joined forces to create a new version of the eline® Optical Telecommunications Outlet. The design has been revamped to ensure perfect integration into various indoor Fibre To The Home and Fibre To The Office installations, but still offers the same advanced technical performance to ensure a good subscriber connection.
Telenco's design team has reduced the thickness of the FTTH box to 24 mm (excluding the mount). The Hestia OTO can be used to connect 1, 2 or 4 fibres in the home, and offers 5 possible entrances for the drop cable: from the back, the sides, the bottom or the top. What's more, the splice tray is reversible to allow for easier wiring in all configurations. Telecoms engineers can therefore install it anywhere in the home, exactly where the subscriber wants their outlet.
For greater visibility, the OTO features a transparent flap to protect and ensure easy access to the subscriber code label (RIO).

- Mounted in a flush-mounted box: X Without mount |
- Mounted on the DIN rail of a communication cabinet: + With mount |
Certain versions of the Hestia OTO also allow the fibre-optic cable to be fed through a microduct using air-blowing techniques.
La PTO Hestia garantit une performance optique optimale pour l’abonné, grâce à une conception pensée pour résister à de nombreux perturbateurs extérieurs comme la poussière, les UV ou l’humidité.
The Hestia OTO guarantees optimal optical performance for the subscriber thanks to its expert design, created to withstand numerous external factors such as dust, UV rays and humidity.
To avoid any interference with the laser beam, all the SC/APC ports in the box are covered by flaps: the optical connections are therefore protected from dust, guaranteeing IP50 dust resistance when wall-mounted. Made from PC/ABS, the Hestia OTO offers impressive fire resistance (UL 94-V0) and shock resistance (IK07).
To facilitate the installation of the OTO and reduce the time spent by the installer at the subscriber's premises, Telenco offers pre-wired OTO kits: ready-to-use solutions that require no splicing.
The pre-wired kits consist of a drop cable directly connected to the OTO, packaged in a cardboard dispenser. To optimise transport flows and space during storage, thereby limiting the environmental impact, they are available in 5 formats, depending on the length and type of cable associated with the OTO. These pre-wired kits are the ideal solution for rapid, expert deployment on customer premises.
