Initiated by the Impala Avenir endowment fund, Les Plombiers du Numérique is a project for the professional integration of unqualified young people in digital infrastructure professions. The aim is to provide training to facilitate access to telecom jobs in France. Today, Les Plombiers du Numérique has 17 schools that have trained over 1,000 young people in 5 years.
By becoming a patron of the project, Telenco wants to promote the values of work, solidarity and sharing.
In 2023, Les Plombiers du Numérique has expanded its catalogue to offer training in markets that represent the future of digital infrastructures, such as data centres. Telenco is supporting this success by financing the Datacenter equipment needed by trainees to complete their training. Adapted and professional equipment has been delivered to around ten training centres, including optical trunks, panels and patch cords.
